It is very difficult to choose a Spring Break Operator. My advice is to go with either USA Tours, STS, or Student Express. I have seen their reps first hand in Cancun and they work very hard. All three companies have great parties and are the larger spring break companies with trips to Cancun.
USA Tour reps were at all the clubs, most are local and they seem like they know what's going on. Craig Rawlings from USA Tours is the only rep that e-mails me from time to time, so I think that you should make a point to see what he can offer. The staff at Student Express consists of more Americans. The reps seemed much more party oriented, but I wonder how much help they were to students, when they were having such a good time themselves. There was one rep who was a 2nd year law student from Duke Univ., he had a great time, but I'm curious how he did on his exams. I really didn't like the STS reps all that much, but I did spend a lot of time at their parties last year (They had one of the larger groups in early March). To Tiffany from STS (01' rep), my boy Ed wanted to say hi.
Once you get down to Cancun it really doesn't matter which spring break
company you are with. You can pay any company $15 USD and you can
get a wristband and the itinerary for their weekly events. I was
actually able to get a STS wristband last year for $5, but that price could
change for 02'. I think that swapping parties is the best way to
go anyway.
USA
Tours - Has a lot of local reps, they seem to know what's going on
in Cancun.
Inter-Campus
Programs - They have been around a while, but I didn't see any of their
reps in Cancun last year. I think they are affiliated with another
spring break company.
Spring
Break Travel - I have some stuff from them in the mail, don't know
much about them.
STS
Travel - had some great parties
Student
Express - Cool Reps in Cancun. I am actually a rep for Student
Express, but that's only because they have flights out of Norfolk, VA.
Springbreak
Direct.com - They sent me some info, one of the cheaper spring break
companies
Island
Tours - they went out of business when some Connecticut guys ransacked
their office
